Imagining a World Without Electricity

 

Before:

I ever imagine and hope that someday the electricity in the world will go, in my mind when it happens suddenly the world can be chaos. I though about it not without reason, because I think now electric not only give kindness but also badness. So yeah maybe just people who can survive that can still alive. But with the ability of thinking human now, that problem can be solved in short time, so humans can make electricity again. But when talking about when electricity was never found, I think humans still can live with modern. Because before electricity was found humans could make gear to make life easier. On the other hand, I think people can have a better life without pollution, and communication can be more alive.

After:

I sometimes imagine and even hope that one day electricity around the world might suddenly disappear. If that happened out of the blue, I believe it would throw the world into chaos. I have my reasons for thinking this, while electricity brings us many benefits, it also has negative impacts. Perhaps only those who can adapt would survive. However, given human ingenuity, people might find a way to generate electricity again in a relatively short time.

Now, considering an alternate history in which electricity was never discovered, I think humanity could still achieve some form of modern living. Before electricity existed, humans were already inventing tools and mechanisms to make life easier. Moreover, without electricity, there might be less pollution, and face-to-face communication could feel more genuine and alive.

Of course, this is all just speculation. It does make me realize how crucial electricity is to our civilization. At the same time, it highlights our resilience and creativity in overcoming challenges.
